About Me

I’m a Manchester-based financial crime professional with experience across The Co-operative Bank, Kroo and Zopa. My work involves examining customer activity, following the evidence and explaining the reasoning behind risk-based decisions.

I began in retail and business banking, assisting individuals and business customers, including sole traders, limited companies with single or multiple directors, partnerships and limited liability partnerships.

At Kroo, I built my investigative experience through transaction monitoring, due diligence and complex remediation work. Alongside this, I supported team leaders by delivering structured financial crime training to two cohorts of apprentices. Through regular quality reviews, I identified knowledge gaps and provided tailored feedback to help apprentices achieve internal accreditation and become independent investigators.

At Zopa, I investigate complex, high-risk cases as a Financial Crime Specialist. I use advanced AI models to assist with investigations involving high-risk customers, internal fraud rings and other financial crime typologies, critically checking AI-generated outputs against the underlying evidence.
